If you’ve been searching for a “Mommy Makeover” in Fargo, you’ve probably noticed the options fall into two camps: treatments that feel underwhelming, and surgical procedures that come with recovery time, risks, and a price tag to match. At Uptown Haven near Downtown Fargo, we’ve built something in between — real, visible results using technology that’s completely pain-free, non-surgical, and requires zero downtime.
Our Mommy Makeover is one of the most popular treatments on our schedule before summer and swimsuit season set in. And before you scroll past because of the name, you don’t have to be a mom. You don’t even have to have had kids. It’s for anyone who wants to feel stronger, more sculpted, and genuinely comfortable in their skin again.
What Is the Mommy Makeover Body Sculpting Treatment?

The Mommy Makeover is our signature non-invasive body contouring treatment focused on the core — stomach, sides, and back. The goal isn’t dramatic overnight transformation; it’s targeted fat reduction paired with skin tightening, so you get smoother contour rather than just lost volume. Think of it as reshaping, not strictly reducing.
Every session follows the same formula: two fat loss treatments combined with one skin tightening treatment. Fat is liquified using radio frequency sound waves — completely painless and non-invasive — and then exits the body naturally as you hydrate. The skin tightening component runs alongside this to firm the area and improve texture as the fat clears, so the results look natural.
Pricing & Session Options
We offer single sessions if you want to start somewhere specific, and a package if you’re ready to commit to a full plan.
| Option | Areas covered | Price |
| Single session | Stomach & sides | $249 |
| Single session | Back & sides | $249 |
| Full single session | Stomach, back & sides | $349 |
| Package of 3 sessions | Mix of stomach/sides + back/sides | $639 |
The 3-session package is where most clients see the best results, and it’s flexible by design. Each session in the package covers the stomach and sides by default, but you can swap one or two sessions for back and sides instead — whatever combination makes the most sense for your body. A few things worth knowing about scheduling:
- Sessions on the same area need to be spaced at least 3–6 days apart to give your body time to process and flush between treatments
- The stomach and back are treated as two separate sessions, meaning they can be booked on the same day if you want to knock out both in one visit
Not sure which option fits your goals? Come in for a free consultation and we’ll walk you through it.
How the Treatment Actually Works

Each session combines four non-invasive technologies that work together rather than in isolation. Here’s what each one does and why we use them together.
Ultrasonic Cavitation
Low-frequency sound waves break apart fat cell membranes beneath the skin, turning the fat into a liquid that your body flushes out naturally through the lymphatic system. It’s the reason we always tell clients to drink plenty of water after their session — that’s what powers the elimination process. Research published in the National Institutes of Health’s PubMed database confirms that ultrasound-induced cavitation produces a measurable reduction in subcutaneous fat without damaging surrounding skin, vessels, or tissue.
Radio Frequency (RF) Skin Tightening
RF delivers controlled heat deep into the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production — the proteins responsible for firmness and elasticity. This is what prevents the treated area from looking loose after fat reduction, and it keeps improving for weeks after each session. A clinical study on cavitation combined with radiofrequency found that using both together produces greater results than either treatment on its own.
Electromagnetic Muscle Stimulation (EMS)
EMS uses focused electromagnetic energy to trigger deep muscle contractions in the treatment area — essentially toning the muscle underneath while the other technologies work on fat and skin above. No effort required on your part.
Laser Lipo
Low-level laser energy penetrates fat cells and prompts them to release stored fat, which the body then metabolizes naturally. It’s particularly effective for the stubborn pockets — lower belly, love handles, the back — that seem to hold on no matter how clean your diet is.
Together, these four technologies address fat reduction, skin laxity, and muscle tone in one session. That’s what separates this from a basic cavitation treatment you might find elsewhere.
Who Should Book This Treatment?

Despite the name, this isn’t a treatment designed specifically for moms. The “Mommy Makeover” refers to the areas targeted — stomach, sides, and back — which happen to be the zones that many people, for all kinds of reasons, struggle with most. We see clients across a huge range of ages, body types, and life situations.
That said, it tends to be the right fit for people who are already reasonably active and eating well but have stubborn areas that just won’t budge. It’s body contouring and sculpting — not a weight loss program. If you’re looking to reshape and tighten a specific zone rather than lose significant overall weight, this is the kind of treatment worth exploring. A free consult is the best way to figure out if it’s right for where you are right now.
How to Get the Most Out of Each Session

The technology does most of the work, but how you treat your body in the 24–48 hours around each appointment has a real impact on your results. Here’s what we tell every client.
Before your session
- Drink plenty of water beforehand — your lymphatic system works better when you’re hydrated going in
- Avoid heavy meals and alcohol for a few hours before your appointment
- Don’t apply lotions, oils, or creams to the treatment area on the day of your session
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing — you’ll thank yourself afterward
After your session
- Drink a lot of water. Seriously — this is the most important aftercare step. The liquified fat exits through your lymphatic system and urinary tract, and hydration is what moves it along. Aim for at least 1–2 liters in the hours after your appointment.
- Go for a walk. Light movement after your session helps stimulate lymphatic drainage. You don’t need to work out — a 20-minute walk is plenty.
- Skip hot showers and saunas for 24–48 hours. Excessive heat right after treatment can interfere with your body’s recovery process.
- Respect the spacing between sessions. Treating the same area again too soon (before 3–6 days) doesn’t speed up results — it might even work against them. Give your body time to finish processing.
- Keep up healthy habits between sessions. The treatment permanently reduces fat cells in the treated areas, but your remaining fat cells can still expand. Staying consistent with nutrition and movement is what locks in long-term results.
What to Expect — From Your First Consult to Your Last Session

Every client starts with a free consultation. There’s no obligation and no pressure — it’s just a conversation where we look at your goals, walk you through the technology, and figure out which option makes the most sense for you. If a single session is the right starting point, great. If the 3-session package fits your goals better, we’ll map that out.
Most clients notice a difference within the first couple of sessions, though the full effects continue developing for several weeks after each treatment as your body processes and eliminates the disrupted fat cells. Sessions themselves feel like a warm, relaxing massage — not clinical, not uncomfortable. You can drive yourself home, go back to work, pick up your kids, whatever your day looks like. There’s genuinely no downtime.
